Me in a nutshell, I am Chris Hildebrandt I am a jack of all trades and a master of a little. I started my IT career as Helpdesk, and eventually took on an IT Admin role for a John Deere dealership where I was introduced to VMware and fell in love with how it could make things so efficient, and shortly later was introduced to VMware View at the time. Later on, moving to work for an insurance company where my main focus was to Virtualize their server environment, and then to take on virtualization of the Desktop environment. After that took an opportunity as a Infrastructure at a mid-sized Toxicology company that soon was bought out by a large medical devices company, this gave me huge growth in knowledge and vast number of technologies and also different technology towers. Today I am a Senior Consultant, delivering Horizon builds for customers around the globe. This gives me a great place to sit, as coming from long career as a customer to move to the value-added reseller world allowing me to give customers the real-world practicality of decisions made during design and build. I was born and raised in the wonderful wasteland of Kansas. I grew up in the country outside a small town southwest of Olathe called Princeton. I have a Wife, two stepdaughters, and one son. I enjoy the opportunity to go hiking, fishing, hunting, long distance shooting, or just an excuse to go into the wood or sit on a lake or a pond. I am one of the ETC/KC fonders.

Disclosure
For those of you that don’t know me, I went to school literally in the middle of a cornfield. So that explains my lack of spelling and general English skills. That is my excuse anyway, but I really just hated English class. Please just let me know if there are any grammatical errors and I will do my best to fix them.
Actual School
It has been added on a few times since I went there. We did not have the whole sports complex to the south it was a pasture before.
